TASC proposes to develop innovative hydraulic-electric hybridization solutions to increase the efficiency of power distribution systems in agricultural machinery, with a particular focus on the whole part related to the management of energy needs of auxiliary systems. Starting from a series of experimental tests aimed to identifying the consumptions and powers required in the most significant situations of use, we will develop simulation models that will lead to a virtual prototyping platform, which will allow us to study and develop prototypes of hybrid components. The prototypes will be finally tested on a real agricultural machine, available on the market.
- To achieve significant improvements in terms of energy consumption and the environmental impact of agricultural machinery.
- Introduce functional improvements, simplifying the hydromechanical architecture and its components.
- Improve the safety and reliability aspects of the machines themselves.
