The<\/span> WE LIGHT<\/span><\/a> project has created<\/span> prototypes of sportswear garments<\/b> integrated with technological systems that can connect the wearer to the external environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

The garments are equipped with<\/span> light sources and sensors<\/b> that adapt in relation to the conditions of the outdoor environment (brightness, humidity, and temperature).<\/span><\/p>\n

The main<\/span> purpose<\/b> is to ensure<\/span> greater safety<\/b> of road sports people, especially cyclists and runners, but it<\/span> is adaptable to different applications<\/b>.. For example, the technology developed can be integrated into wheelchairs for the mobility of the disabled, or the data derived from its use can be useful in studying the improvement of lighting conditions in public environments.<\/span><\/p>\n

WE LIGHT is an industrial research project approved on the “Call for strategic industrial research projects addressing the priority areas of the smart specialization strategy” (DGR 986\/2018) within the<\/span> POR-FESR EMILIA ROMAGNA 2014-2020<\/b>, Axis 1 – Research and Innovation, Action 1.2.2.<\/span><\/p>\n

MISTER is partner of Centro Interdipartimentale EN&TECH – UNIMORE<\/a> in the development of the project for R&D and dissemination activities.<\/p>\n
