{"id":11217,"date":"2023-02-16T12:07:13","date_gmt":"2023-02-16T11:07:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/progetti\/5g-to-immersively-and-interactively-experience-events-remotely\/"},"modified":"2023-03-01T11:42:11","modified_gmt":"2023-03-01T10:42:11","slug":"5g-to-immersively-and-interactively-experience-events-remotely","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/en\/projects\/5g-to-immersively-and-interactively-experience-events-remotely\/","title":{"rendered":"5G to immersively and interactively experience events remotely"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The project activities will focus on the realization of <strong>immersive content<\/strong> that, taking advantage of the high performance of <strong>5G networks<\/strong> in terms of bandwidth and latency, will be broadcast from outdoor locations of music, educational, tourist-recreational (use-case) events.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve the goal, <strong>the CNR Research Territorial Area Conference Center in Bologna will be upgraded,<\/strong> with the creation first of all of a control room that, interacting through 5G technology, will allow the production of usable content <strong>with emerging human-machine interfaces<\/strong> (e.g., augmented, virtual, immersive and interactive reality, speech recognition, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>infrastructure<\/strong> will be complemented by two dedicated laboratories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SED Space<\/strong> &#8211; Digital Event Room, will aim to develop experimental, immersive content based on augmented, virtual, immersive and interactive reality;<\/li>\n<li><strong>5G-TUR Lab<\/strong>, will aim to test the full usability and interactivity of augmented and virtual reality content, particularly aimed at the tourism-recreation sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This project is part of the broader goal of creating a unique infrastructure in Emilia-Romagna open to the territory and the community, useful for the <strong>exchange and sharing of ideas, technologies and opportunities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Partners MISTER, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnr.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Research Council<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consorzioproambiente.it\/it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Proambiente<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.music-academy.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Music Academy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lucianopavarottifoundation.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luciano Pavarotti Foundation<\/a> are collaborating on the development of the project, with co-financing from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mise.gov.it\/it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Business and Made in Italy<\/a> (5G audiovisual project).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11198\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/logoMIMIT_ITA.webp\" alt=\"logoMIMIT_ITA\" width=\"1389\" height=\"417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/logoMIMIT_ITA.webp 1389w, https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/logoMIMIT_ITA-300x90.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/logoMIMIT_ITA-1024x307.webp 1024w, https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/logoMIMIT_ITA-768x231.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1389px) 100vw, 1389px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":11179,"template":"","industry":[651],"class_list":["post-11217","project","type-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","industry-innovation-en"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/11217","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/project"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/11179"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=11217"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"industry","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.laboratoriomister.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/industry?post=11217"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
