We are part of four Clust-ERs (Mech, Health, Innovate and Create). Clust-ERs are associations that gather research laboratories and innovation centers of the High Technology Network, connecting them with the entrepreneurial system of the regional territory. The goal is to create opportunities and collaborations to have a positive impact on the market and society through innovation.
We are members of the High Technology Network of the Emilia-Romagna region both as an Industrial Research Laboratory and as an Innovation Center. We are therefore recognized as an organization that promotes research results, makes them available to companies, and promotes innovation and technology transfer.

2009
Mist E-R Foundation
June 26th, the MIST E-R Laboratory is founded (share capital €100,000), dedicated to the creation of a manufacturing platform for mechanics and materials.
Technopole
2011
Network affiliation
MISTER becomes an official member of High Technology Network of the Emilia-Romagna region, the project for the creation of the Bologna CNR Technopole gets underway.

New bylaws
When the second round of POR-FESR calls for proposals are launched, MISTER renews its bylaws and defines its permanent staff.
New headquarters

Manager of the Technopole
MISTER is appointed as the managing body of the Bologna CNR Technopole and establishes its headquarters within the National Research Council (CNR) research area of Bologna.
Tenth anniversary
2019
Ten years of MISTER
We become “MISTER Smart Innovation” and on November the 7th, about 280 people attend the ten-year anniversary, culminating in the Mr. Startup Contest award ceremony.
