A fashion-show sized metaverse with the TECHstyle Hub project
MISTER Smart Innovation, Fondazione Fashion Research Italy and MPDA apr on behalf of Creative Hub Bologna come together to launch the TECHstyle Hub project, who benefits from the incentive of the Ministry of Culture “Digital transition cultural and creative organizations” (TOCC) to foster business innovation and digitalization.
The project aims to revolutionize interactions between art, fashion and technology, providing creative and interactive solutions for creative and cultural industries. The primary objective is the creation of a shared virtual hub, by replicating the space of Fondazione FRI as a theatre where it will be possible to carry out a wide range of cultural events, exhibitions and conferences included. The hearth of the project consists in the creation of interactive and customizable environments, avatar and objects for a social platform on the Metaverse.
MISTER Smart Innovation will be in charge of the customization of a virtual environment in the Metaverse, providing separate access areas to enable partners the virtual environment independent use even beyond the duration of the project. The project also includes the realization of a digital fashion show, where the models-avatar will parade wearing a capsule collection of garments decorated with prints from the textile archive digitalized by F. FRI. This inaugural event will be the first of a series of immersive experiences, which will include musical performances and sonorizations elaborated by Creative Hub Bologna, explorations and valorizations of the heritage of the Textile Design of F. FRI, interactions with the audience and a lot more.

With the objective of exploiting the technologies that allow to carry out interactive and engaging events, the project aims to revolutionize the way people connect with art and fashion, transforming the cultural experience into an exciting and interactive journey.
