Bologna’s CNR area opens its doors to celebrate centenary

In 2023, the National Research Council, Italy’s largest public research organization, celebrates the 100th anniversary of its founding.

100 years of commitment to research activity, which today is renewed in key areas for the future of the planet: sustainability, biodiversity, ecological transition, digital transition, clean energy, circular economy, life sciences, one health, cultural heritage, peace and science diplomacy.

In Bologna, we will celebrate by opening the doors of the Research Area to the public from 5 p.m., with a program full of events and activities, until midnight.

Food stations and street food will be present.

MISTER will organize activities to bring the public into the metaverse and other initiatives related to the Digital CorNeR project, which it is leading and in which Proambiente and the Bologna Area CNR are collaborating.

ACCESS TO THE EVENT IS FREE WITH MANDATORY REGISTRATION.

Participation in some activities will require additional reservations (link for registration and reservations at the bottom of the page).
