Biomaterials and 3D printing: attend R2B with MISTER
Once again this year MISTER is participating in the R2B – Research2Business innovation event in its online version, organizing two hands-on moments within the laboratories on June 14.
3D printing
The first event, from about 10 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. , will consist of a short tutorial on stereolithographic 3D printing and will be held by researcher Giovanni Battista Montanari, who will speak and demonstrate this 3D printing method from the design on CAD, up to the finishing of the printed part, not forgetting the possible applications of the tool.
Biomaterials and packaging
In the afternoon, from about 3 to 3:20 p.m., researcher Anna Sagnella will demonstrate the creation of casein films, giving a brief overview of natural biomaterials and their possible practical applications, particularly in packaging.
