Connecting vehicles to infrastructure

The 5G-CAR project has realized a communication system between vehicles and road infrastructures, capable of providing support for assisted driving and intelligent mobility of emergency vehicles such as ambulances or suitable for road maintenance such as street sweepers.

The aim is to develop an architecture that ensures safe and effective communication even in adverse conditions.

5G-CAR is an industrial research project approved on the “Call for Strategic Industrial Research Projects addressing the priority areas of the smart specialization strategy” (DGR 986/2018) within the POR-FESR EMILIA ROMAGNA 2014-2020, Axis 1 – Research and Innovation, Action 1.2.2.
