Management and development of Technopole Bologna CNR
The plan for the management of the Technopole Bologna CNR has been co-financed since 2017 by the Emilia-Romagna Region through European funds and the managing entity MISTER Smart Innovation.
DGR n. 2060/2022 – years 2023-2025
Description
The project is aimed at the promotion and enhancement of the Bologna CNR Technopole located within the Bologna CNR Research Area, an important reference point not only for national and international scientific research but also for the interests of businesses, attracted by the great availability of expertise and technological resources.
Goals
- Strengthen and disseminate research excellence, fostering more inclusive and broad participation by citizens and businesses, to improve the link between research, innovation and education.
- To become a benchmark for accelerating innovation in the regional ecosystem.
- Support the implementation of EU priorities for action and address global challenges affecting quality of life by promoting responsible and sustainable research and innovation.
- Promote and enhance the culture of research and innovation through training courses for companies and young talents in partnership with training institutions in the area.
- Provide services regarding: Reception and orientation; Animation; Communication and promotion; Promotion, attractiveness and networking; Management and monitoring; Internationalization.
Results
The main expected spin-off of the activities is the strengthening of an “industrial research ecosystem.” Expected output is therefore the enhancement of the Bologna CNR Technopole, in synergy with the entire Technopole Network, as an innovation hub capable of reaching different subjects (businesses, institutions, young people, the world of education, etc.) with a broad service portfolio.

Description
The project is aimed at the promotion and enhancement of the Bologna CNR Technopole located within the Bologna CNR Research Area, an important reference point not only for national and international scientific research but also for the interests of businesses, attracted by the great availability of expertise and technological resources.
Goals
- Facilitate access, through the Technopole Portal, to the skills, services and opportunities available at the Bologna CNR Technopole.
- Promote evalorize the skills and excellence of the Technopole, encouraging the organization of programs, visits, and the use of innovative tools to engage businesses and stakeholders in Technopole research activities.
- Promotion of the Technopole through the use of various media (print, video, social media, etc.). Activities require the preparation of a strategic policy of identifying an effective visual identity, the use of outside consultants for graphic design activities, advertising services, etc.
- Enhance the attractiveness of existing facilities at the Technopole by facilitating access to and use of laboratories and instrumentation. The activity includes the elaboration of documents aimed at regulating in the most effective way the methods of access and use of spaces and facilities within the Technopole, as well as promotional actions towards regional, national and European realities.
- Adoption of suitable tools to monitor the effectiveness of activities carried out (e.g., access detection and performance indicators).
Results
In general, the main spin-off expected from the activities described here is the strengthening of an “industrial research ecosystem” that is being configured. Description
The Tecnopolo Bologna CNR management, promotion and development project enhances the scientific skills and technological resources of the subjects of the Tecnopolo itself and of the regional innovation ecosystem towards the territory and in particular towards businesses, through accompanying, marketing and communication activities, open innovation tools and co-design.

- Consolidation of Technopole animation and management activities.
- Delivery of excellent services to enterprises; refinement of the research-based innovation model.
- Expanding regional, national and international partnerships.
- Dissemination and promotion of research activity.
- Promotion of the skills and laboratories of the Bologna CNR Technopole.
Results
- Fostering the transfer of research results, support for the creation of new enterprises.
- Foster the international openness of the target areas by promoting collaborations and exchange activities with national and international research entities.
- Fostering the spread of innovation culture by involving the local community and economy, the business system, educational institutions, and institutions.

Description
The management, promotion and development project of the Bologna CNR Technopole enhances the scientific expertise and technological resources of the subjects of the technopole itself and of the regional innovation ecosystem towards the territory and in particular towards businesses, through accompanying activities, marketing and communication, open innovation tools and co-design.
Goals
- Consolidation of animation, promotion and management activities of the Technopole.
- Delivery of excellence in business services.
- Perfecting the research-based innovation model.
- Expanding regional, national and international partnerships – toward Horizon Europe.
Results
- To encourage the transfer of research results, support the creation of new enterprises, dissemination and promotion of research activity, and promotion of the skills and laboratories of the Bologna CNR Technopole.
- Foster the international openness of the target areas by promoting collaborations and exchange activities with national and international research entities.
- Foster the dissemination of the culture of innovation understood in the broadest sense by involving the local community and economy, the business system, educational institutions, and institutions.
